* Flexible Location: Position is open to Russelville & Ozark areas.Position Summary:Responsible for providing regularly scheduled troubleshooting analysis of compression and process equipment. Provide detailed compression and processing equipment analysis and technical reports which ensures efficient operation and maintenance of natural gas compression and process equipment. Will work closely with the compression operations and processing groups to provide analysis and reports in the area of engine compressor analysis while maintaining compliance with all company policies, procedures and applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations including but not limited to Process Safety Management, DOT and OSHA regulations. Will operate technically advanced equipment to perform analysis to ensure that the compression and plant equipment is set up, operated and maintained in order to maximize return on invested capital in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.Provides guidance and training to less experienced employees within functional area. Resolves complex problems within area of responsibility. Understands and applies advanced principles in area of specialization. Recommends changes in procedures and participates in the update process. Anticipates patterns and links; looks beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Acts in a liaison capacity with other functions, landowners, contractors, government agencies and customers. May coordinate the work of technicians and third-party contractors.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Under minimal supervision-- plans, conducts and leads assignments of a complex nature.* Provide regularly scheduled predictive analysis regarding maintenance condition, performance, and vibration on compression and process equipment.* Provide detailed reports on compression performance and condition. Provides recommendations to management, field operations, and engineers regarding required, advanced maintenance processes, overhauls or replacement of equipment. Recommendations may result in equipment shut-down or redirect.* Provide recommendations to improve preventative and predictive maintenance plans for assigned assets.* Prioritize and develop analysis schedule in conjunction with operations managers.* Assist compression operations personnel to improve operating* efficiencies, lower fuel costs, and trouble shoot equipment.* Observes all safety requirements and actively participates in* company safety initiatives.* Identifies, reports and takes immediate actions to correct unsafe* conditions.* Promotes positive team working atmosphere.* Ensure the effective and timely communication of equipment condition and status of special projects cost/schedule to supervisor, technicians, engineers and other related parties.* Ensures Lock Out Tag Out procedures are implemented and followed. Assists in the development of Lock Out Tag Out procedures on an as needed basis.* Ensures Safe Work Permit is required and valid.* Regularly performs a wide spectrum of non-routine, moderately complex assignments requiring technical evaluation, innovation and judgment.* Provide detailed reports on equipment performance and condition, including recommendations for improvement, to operations personnel and Diagnostic Supervisor.* Effectively utilizes special tools and instruments such as: Performance Analyzers, Electronic manometers, Infrared cameras and devices, complex analysis software and velocity meters.* Assists with projects, New equipment commissioning, capital maintenance projects, equipment retrofits, reliability and efficiency upgrades with horsepower testing and verification and vibration studies* Develop and present compression training to field operations on multiple topics and equipment types.* Following company guidelines and procedures will maintain all records and documentation associated with engine/compressor analysisMinimum Education & Experience:* Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, computer technology or other technical discipline. Three (3) years directly related experience will be considered in lieu of an associate's degree.* Six (6) years' experience in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas compressors and engines.* Valid State Driver's License.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:* Possess skills in planning, organization and project management.* Advanced knowledge in the operation and maintenance of all types of compression, process and electrical equipment.* Advanced in troubleshooting and repair of all types of compression, process and electrical equipment.* Advanced knowledge in electrical wiring diagrams and control schematics.* Basic knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of all types of equipment pertaining to instrument/electrical trade: a) 4-20 mA signal; b) basic AC and DC knowledge.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedure instructions.* Able to communicate and interpret mechanical performance information and diagrams* Possess effective communication skills necessary to promote compliance with procedures and cooperation with individuals at various levels throughout the organization.* Advanced knowledge in medium voltage, electric motor drive and controls.* Advanced knowledge in electronic controls and troubleshooting.* Proficient in the use of computers and the Microsoft office suite.* Proficient in the use of vibration analysis equipment.* Proficient in the use of Windrock analysis software.* Proficient in the use of a Windrock Performance Analyzer.* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in the use of hand tools.* Ability to work and participate in a team-based environment to accomplish assignments.* Demonstrate commitment to achieving measurable results and to holding self and others accountable.* Aptitude to pursue innovative and creative solutions to deliver improvements in services.* Perform duties in a manner that prevents hazards to oneself, others, as well as the environment.* Respect and follow safety policies and regulations;
