* This position may be filled as an Engineer III or Sr commensurate with qualifications and experience.** This position will be hired for the Arkansas Nuclear One Plant*JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSEThis position is a member of a multidiscipline engineering team that provides engineering services in support of Entergy nuclear plant modifications including development of engineering change packages, implementation support, and management of engineering projects.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES* Work closely with site Engineering and stakeholders to develop/revise drawings, specifications, calculations, and other design documents for plant modifications. Ensure project modfication designs maintain the plant design and license bases and represent the optimum design alternative.* Deliver timely, constructible, economic, and maintainable modification designs in support of plant needs.* Coordinate engineering activities with plant departments to minimize plant and system downtime and maximize plant power generation.* Ensure good engineering practices are used and comply with nuclear and corporate processes, practices and procedures.* Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of Entergy as required.* Ensures fleet lessons are learned and good practices implemented.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum education required of the positionB.S. Degree in Engineering or other closely related scientific discipline/physical science generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent work experience (equivalent experience defined as demonstrated success at the engineer/technical specialist level.)Minimum experience required of the positionEngineering degree or equivalent.* Engineer, III: 3 - 5 years experience in nuclear power design, operations, or equivalent, depending upon engineering level* Engineer, Sr: 6+ years experience in nuclear power design, operations, or equivalent, depending upon engineering levelMinimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the positionGood to excellent communication skills. Experience / proficiency in specific engineering discipline design and analysis, commensurate with engineering level.
