Role Summary:
Join our GE Healthcare Life Sciences Automation and Digital team and work with cross functional project teams in Automation Development and Implementation on Operational Technology (OT) security. Includes new product design support/design transfer, and ongoing security life-cycle management. Conduct security assessments, design cyber security solutions, and support implementation of those solutions. Lead efforts in the area of IT architecture, design, build and support.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • \\tConduct Cyber risk assessments and threat modelling.
  • \\tCreate asset lists including software and firmware details in support of Cyber security assessments.
  • \\tReview risk assessments and product designs and propose mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
  • \\tDevelop secure network topologies to meet demanding industrial process control requirements.
  • \\tDevelop physical and virtual application hosting strategies.
  • \\tDevelop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • \\tProvide technical support and estimates for sales initiatives.
  • \\tIT system architecture, design, build and support.
  • \\tEthernet network design and build.
  • \\tWindows Server and client system administration setup and support expertise.
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • \\tBS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with minimum 5 years of experience
  • \\tExperience with common PLC and SCADA platforms
  • \\tExperience working in an industrial manufacturing OT environment.
  • \\tExperience with industry cyber security standards (IEC 62433, ISA 99, NIST 800-53, etc.) implementation and governance
  • \\tKnowledge in areas such as network design, Windows Domain setup expertise, security and group policy setup.
  • \\tFamiliar with industrial networks with virtually and physically hosted applications.
  • \\tFamiliar with layer 3 switch configurations, VLAN segmentation, firewall configuration and VMWare.
  • \\tExcellent time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple projects and priorities
  • \\tSelf-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
  • \\tAbility to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions and meet deadlines
  • \\tExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, and verbal and written communications skills
    Desired Characteristics:
  • \\tPLC/SCADA experience with Rockwell and /or Emerson products
  • \\tExperience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • \\tExperience working with VMWare or HyperV
  • \\tExperience working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server)
  • \\tSecurity certification (e.g. GICSP) from nationally recognized organization
  • \\tExperience working on project teams utilizing phase-gate (waterfall) and/or agile project execution methodologies
  • \\tExperience working on global project teams
