The purpose of this position is to support the VP of Implementation and manage the strategy, design and development of the Interoperability roadmap and initiatives, supporting both operation and business/financial analytics, throughout patient-centric home health and hospice agencies, within the HCHB EMR. The position also oversees the design, code and testing of interfaces according to specifications using the required protocols such as; HL7, TCPIP, XML, FHIR etc., as well as, the development of project plans to ensure that projects are implemented within established timeframes.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage a decentralized Interface and development team across multiple departments
Manage the design, build and maintenance of the Interoperability roadmap and initiatives. Manage all new interface requests and backlog of requests

Manage the end to end process (sales to delivery) of all interfaces developed by the team including all phases of the implementation process
Responsible for financial productivity of the P&L
Collaborate with IT/Business leadership in evolving vision for end-user solutions and technologies to drive efficiency and productivity
Provides leadership to ensure application development and support teams work collaboratively with other IT and business teams ensuring architecture and security standards, tracking metrics and continuous improvement standards are adhered to Other Job Functions:

Ability to work off-hours and when required.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study or 10+ years of technical and operational work experience.
8+ years of experience in a leadership role in software architecture, design, development and support including experience leading a team and managing customers/vendors.
5+ years of experience with healthcare EDI/HIE, HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
Advanced Project Management, from both a technical and operational background preferred.
Experience in Executive Communication preferred.
Experience with management of an Agile development team.
Experience with management project teams
Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
