What you will do
The Program Leader of Installation Delivery will be responsible for providing overall strategic design and program management for one of the key transformation programs of the BSNA Business Transformation organization. This role will provide the leadership to design consistent, new processes and technologies that will drive a consistent customer experience across all three business domains (Security, Fire and HVAC). Implementation and change management for the organization will also be critical aspects to this role. Desired outcomes include an improved customer experience, an improved technician experience and positive ROI for the organization.
* Owns the development of long term and short term plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and financial outcomes for the Installation Delivery transformation program.
* Leads analysis of existing operations to identify pain points, inefficiencies and any unmet business needs.
* Synthesizes operational and customer related data into consumable insights and recommendations in order to drive improvements.
* Develops innovative ways to improve or otherwise change operations, leveraging technology and best practices.
* Partners cross-functionally to ensure seamless service delivery and hand-offs to the business upon completion of each phase of transformation.
How you will do it
* Build and own the five year roadmap for the Scoping, Design & Engineering and Project Management & Installation Execution program including overall goals and objectives, setting and achieving performance metrics, timelines, ROI, team building, etc.
* Program manage entire installation delivery program as laid out on the roadmap
Build, track and hold team accountable to achieving customer and technician satisfaction metrics - NPS, employee satisfaction and others.
Build, track and hold team accountable to achieving financial business case for overall program and individual domain projects.
Influence Domain leadership and Field Operations leadership to buy in to program roadmap, recruit domain subject matter experts and field resources for team staffing, and champion projects through to completion.
Work with global counterparts to ensure consistency in how JCI is implementing new Scoping, Design & Engineering & Project Management processes and technologies.
Manage, develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
What we look for
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
* Minimum of 12 years of experience in one or more of the following functions: business operations, field operations, design & engineering, program management, operational excellence, or project management.
* Experience developing program initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
* Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
* Continuously measures the completion rate of personal and team goals.
* Experience in effectively driving change throughout a large-scale, complex organization.
* Experience communicating business initiatives in a clear and concise manner to multiple types of audiences and channels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, PowerPoint, Power BI and Sharepoint).
* Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in the Security, Fire or HVAC industry.
* Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and dynamic environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
* Previous experience in transformational change, post-merger integration, IT platform implementation and/or project management office.
