The Planning & Analysis Group is responsible for partnering within the business and across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, central oversight and coordination of firmwide budgeting and forecasting, macroeconomic scenario design and distribution, and strategic program management and execution. This includes oversight for firmwide reporting across all four lines of business (LOB): Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), Asset Management (AM), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) and Commercial Bank (CB). Additionally, P&A helps drive and improve automation, simplification of processes and the enhancement of analytics.
These roles primarily support the strategic analysis of our financial planning framework, in addition to partnering closely with LOB business teams and functions for core financial reporting, process improvement, ad-hoc analysis and due diligence.
+ CCB program lead for the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Risk Appetite, and Risk Identification which includes execution at the sub-LOB level
+ CCAR CFO attestation program lead in partnership with the CCB Controller team
+ Partners closely with CCB and Corporate Controllers, CCB and Corporate Risk Management, Corporate Capital Stress Testing, CCB Finance, and CCB Control Management
+ Analysis of CCAR, ICAAP, and risk appetite results and presents to CCB CEO, CFO, CRO and their leadership teams
+ Drives strategic decisions with the various LOBs and Corporate which requires understanding the strategies and priorities of the various LOBs
+ Scheduler owner for the FRB Retail Balance & Loss Projection
+ Drive efficiencies and process improvement within the Capital Stress Testing function
+ Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting
+ 10+ yearsexperience in a medium to large diverse organization in Finance/Accountingand or management consulting
+ Bachelorsdegree in Accounting/Finance
+ Experiencein planning, forecasting, budgeting
+ Experiencein Retail Financial Services desired (Consumer Banking, Business Banking,Credit Card, Mortgage, Auto Finance)
+ Ability tomanage a large and complex agenda across multiple senior stakeholders inFinance, Risk Management, and Control Management within both CCB andCorporate
+ Strongjudgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic,proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask thetough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple taskssimultaneously
+ Strongquantitative, critical thinking and analytic skills, excellentquantitative and analytical problem solving skills, confidence withfinance and accounting concepts, understanding of financial statements,has the ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts ina fast-paced, dynamic environment and provide strong documentation
