Chase Merchant Services - Business Case Management and Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated analytical thinker with an interest in learning more about Global Wholesale Payments Business. In this position, the VP will be responsible for financial management, business case planning and analysis of our Merchant Services Initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, equally adept at detailed financial reporting/analysis and strategic thinking. This role is highly cross-functional - working across Product, Technology, Marketing, Business Development, Risk, Data Management, among other groups within the firm.
+ End to end ownership of the business case process
+ Estimate and analyze the expected financial impact of various investment opportunities to drive the decision making process based on key metrics
+ Design and scale post implementation review process to analyze results of business investments and compare against original business case for key learnings
+ Analyze large amounts of data to present results and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management
+ Manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure timelines are achieved
+ Partner effectively with various teams within the Merchant Services organization
+ Work independently with minimal supervision
+ Ad hoc financial analysis
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related discipline)
+ 8+ years in Finance/Accounting, merchant acquiring industry knowledge preferred
+ Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills, confidence with finance and accounting concepts, ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
+ Excellent thought leadership, strategic business acumen, and intellectual curiosity
+ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity and work ethic
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office required, Essbase and SQL knowledge preferred
