By demonstrating excellent assessmentskills, extensive clinical knowledge, and an understanding of professional,community, and corporate resources, JPMC Corporate Health Nurses helpemployees better understand their health needs, make informed decisions, andtake the appropriate actions. Through the deliveryof professional nursing care,JPMC nurses have the opportunity to develop trusted relationships withemployees as well as other key stakeholders in the firm including HealthServices personnel, business managers, human resources colleagues, areaphysicians, and local hospitals. Responsibilities: Demonstrates Clinical Distinction + Provides clinical nursing care for the management ofoccupational and non-occupational health conditions + Adheres to evidence-based, symptom drivenestablished protocols + Provides follow-up with employees to ensure efficacy ofinterventions and directives + Coordinates and implements health promotion initiativesincluding health screenings, health assessments and health-relatedcounseling/education + Plans and implements risk based, population - specifichealth promotion strategies for both group and individual health education + Is a certified health coach and offers health coachingprograms that reflect adherence to established evidence-based curriculum(may obtain certification within first six months of employment) + Provides travel consultations and administers indicatedimmunizations for JPMC employees who are travelling for business + Documents all encounters in the computerized medicalrecord /EHR, accurately and completely + Performs workplace environmental assessments,interacting with appropriate corporate colleagues + Facilitates employee requests for jobaccommodations + Facilitates ergonomic assessments and assists withworkstation modification + Provides exposure assessment and follow up for medicaland environmental issues + Coordinates daily operations as needed Develops Client Relationships + Develops long term relationships with employees thatengender confidence and trust in the care and/or advice provided + Demonstrates professionalism with employees,colleagues, and JPMC management team + Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of all healthinformation + Assists with problem-solving focused on decreasingbarriers to healthcare access + Works collaboratively with EAP, Employee Relations,Security, Facilities, Dining Services, Local Volunteer Groups andcommunity partners as well as co-workers in health services + Attains high level of employee satisfaction asdemonstrated through verbal and written feedback as well as employeesatisfaction survey Creates Value + Enhances the demonstration of Return on Investmentreporting by accurately documenting all encounter information + Ensures efficient use of resources within healthservices + Provides referrals to: Employee AssistancePrograms, health plans: condition management and/ or behavior modificationprogram to optimize employee health and consumerism + Balance the client needs with businessneeds in processing reasonable accommodations + Demonstrates strong team loyalty and collaborates withteam members to ensure that coverage is maintained within a cluster ofhealth centers + Serves as a mentor for new corporate health nurses Ensures Operational Excellence + Participates in clinical nursing audits and identifiesstrategies for remediation of deficiencies to target 100% compliance + Maintains universal standards for personal protection + Maintains OSHA compliance with record keeping + Follows all safety and environmental guidelines forstorage and use of equipment + Disposes of all medical waste according to federal,state and local guidelines + Tracks expiration dates of all medical supplies andproperly disposes when outdated + Operates CLIA-waived laboratory in accordance withfederal, state and local guidelines + Active Registration/License for Delaware isrequired + Five or more years of nursing experience of which 3years are in emergency room nursing, critical care, occupational health,urgent care or ambulatory care + Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated teamworkand ability to collaborate + Demonstrated critical thinking skills in previouspositions + Phlebotomy and EKG skills + Knowledge of case management, workers' compensation,and governmental regulations + Ability to make independent nursing judgments whereappropriate + Strong demonstrated written and verbal communicationskills + Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,electronic health record software + Demonstrated ability to adapt working style and performin fast-paced corporate environment + Demonstrated an appropriate sense of urgency andability to escalate concerns to supervisors/ regional manager **_To be considered for this role,you may be required to complete a video interview powered by Hirevue_** JPMorgan Chase is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer Disability/Veteran.
