Manager, Lionbridge Community (Digital)

The Lionbridge Community is a growing digital platform where contractors, including translators, language graders, and quality assessors, can connect with each other, employment resources, and Lionbridge staff. We're seeking a positive force who can nurture and curate this online community to encourage deeper connections between Lionbridge and its community members, as well as among community members. The position's main goals are to improve retention and engagement of our freelancer community partners with Lionbridge and to encourage them to become promoters of Lionbridge in extended communities. Approaches will include creation and maintenance of reward programs and research and delivery on performance feedback and industry trends.

Responsibilities



Create and lead community nurturing programs

Defines strategy and executes the plan to implement and track programs within the Lionbridge community that ultimately builds community cohesion.

Strategizes ways to scale our community and connect with new people.

Provides engaging content for online Community.

Moderates and responds to questions and discussions in Lionbridge's community.

Attends relevant events to build additional awareness.

Analyzes results of community metrics and provide monthly analytics.

Develops, coordinates, writes and edits Lionbridge community communications.

Lead and build university outreach programs

Collect feedback through survey and share the updates of Lionbridge

Promote and introduce new trends in the globalization industry to bring community close to what we achieve together

Basic Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related discipline

3+ years of experience in community management, communications and/or social media marketing

Experience with organizing events and campaigns live and on-line

PowerPoint and Presentation Skills

Preferred Requirements

Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics

Ability to balance changing priorities with a positive attitude

Excellent writing and editing skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication, project management, and time management skills

Self-starter with a growth mindset orientation and interest in new skills

Enthusiasm for learning about Community partners, company business, and the industry

Industry experience preferred

Belief in the importance of people as a base strength of any business

Global cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse communities
