Physical Therapy # PT # Homecare VNA Circle Home Physical Therapists provide rehabilitative and therapeutic care and services to patients in their homes, in accordance with physician referral.##The licensed Physical Therapist assesses for and coordinates intervention of appropriate services and provides teaching to the nursing staff, home health aides and family members. Our patients benefit from physical therapy when they have had joint replacement or other major surgery. Patients with a chronic illness that involves muscular and movement disorders will also benefit from physical therapy. Position Qualifications:# Bachelor degree along with 2-3 years Physical Therapy experience, Master#s degree preferred PT Licensure in the state of Massachusetts and New Hampshire CPR certification required Current knowledge of OASIS and Medicare A guidelines Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient organizational skills Circle Home, Inc. Maintain current knowledge and responsibility for organizing and performing diversified medically-prescribed physical therapy procedures to restore patient physical functions, to prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body member and to instruct patients in attaining optimum performance.
Demonstrates the ability apply diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint and functional ability tests to plan the required therapy program via exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electrical means.
Demonstrates the ability treat disabilities, injuries, etc., by administering a variety of exercise treatments including muscle re-education, relaxation and various walking exercises, etc., using inclines, parallel bars, steps, weights, crutches, walkers, etc. Treat patients with sprains, bursitis, arthritis, etc., with hydro-therapy treatments such as whirlpool, leg, arm and body baths, hot/cold packs, hydrocollators, etc.
