High-End national commercial contractor seeks HR Manager for their New York City office. This position will be an integral part of the strategic process and will assist with various corporate planning and budgeting initiatives.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Must be experienced with ADP payroll for 100+ EE office including interface with TPA for 401K / MED / LIFE insurance plans. Multi-state exp a +.
  • Coordinate and perform recruiting, screening, interviewing and vetting process for all new hires including drafting of offer letters to prospective candidates.
  • Successfully execute and / or maintain the design, planning, and implementation of EE training, on-boarding and orientation programs, policies and procedures.
  • Attend project related marketing and planning meetings.
  • Monitor adherence to Union contracts / payroll reporting.
  • Review and edit performance evaluations and subsequent improvement plans.
  • Process / document all termination and exit interview proceedings.
  • Perform related HR functions including maintaining employee records, files, and reports.

Education and Experience:

Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task effectively, and have effective communication skills.

  • A bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in relative field preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Power-Point, Excel.
  • Experience working in high-end commercial construction preferred.
