Position SummaryThis position will assist the Associate Dean, Finance and Administration in planning and monitoring the financial health of the School; will participate in strategic planning through development of long term financial planning as well as identify and make recommendations for improvements in financial operations, facilitate communications on policies and procedures; ensure compliance with University accounting and financial reporting policies.Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field. Required Experience: 5+ years relevant budget and financial management experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with accounting, financial analysis and budget management. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial information. Ability to prepare and report on complex financial models for various aspects of the School s financial portfolio. Resolve complex problems, successfully work with and communicate with diverse internal and external clients. Ability to meet fixed deadlines. High level of proficiency with spreadsheet software; familiarity with database and word processing software.
