Position SummaryMonitor daily clinic operations, within guidelines, in accordance with College's clinical procedures. Prioritize clinic activities and delegate work to student and/or casual employees. Act as work leader to junior clerical support staff. Provide customer service support to dental clinic patients, from greeting and routing patients to maintaining data integrity in AxiUm and performing cashier duties. Maintain student and patient appointments; reconcile encounter forms. Triage emergencies. Arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur. Schedule follow up exams. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, making suggestions for enhancements and improvements.Qualifications Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: 3 years of office experience in a dental clinic or related healthcare facility. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize own work and coordinate work of others in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
