General Summary of Position:

The College of Education is seeking to hire a dynamic Clinical Field Coordinator and a program advisor for the Colleges online programs.? This is a full time, 12 month benefited position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:

  1. Locating and maintaining field placements for all elementary, special education, and secondary education students who enroll in pre-practica and practica courses each semester.
  2. Building and maintaining new and existing partnerships with area public schools and developing effective working relationships with K-12 principals.
  3. Communicate with practicum sites to facilitate placement arrangements and practicum implementation; process practicum agreements and MOUs.
  4. Collaborating with the program coordinators in elementary and secondary education to organize supervisor orientation and training sessions.
  5. Coordinate and collaborate with Licensure Officer to provide needed DESE information for student licensure.
  6. When necessary, contributing to reports required for state and national accreditation.
  7. Advise graduate students in six online programs.
  8. Coordinate with faculty online programs to insure the scope and sequence the quality of online programs.
  9. Manage inquiries from prospective and current students seeking field placements and advising.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • An earned masters in education or a comparable degree
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and technological skills
